That’s why it has introduced something called Hyundai EMI Assurance. The program will cover up to 3 car loan EMIs (Easy Monthly Installments) for select new customers. Who can be eligible? People who are facing problems such as employment loss, acquisition/merger of the company or due to any applicable laws.

Pretty neat, isn’t it! Well, as you’d expect, there are a few terms and conditions in place. While Hyundai hasn’t shared all of them, it has mentioned five important ones. First, only those who purchase a new Hyundai car during May 2020 become eligible. Second, the program is applicable on select models. Third, Hyundai will not cover any EMI in the first three months of the loan period. Fourth, the EMI Assurance program will cover customers for one year from the date of the car sale. What that means is that Hyundai might entertain up to three EMIs in the remaining nine months. And fifth, Shriram General Insurance underwrites the cover.

There’s no other way of saying it – Hyundai’s EMI Assurance program is an industry first. And if you want to avail the benefit, get in touch with the nearest Hyundai dealer. And don’t worry about catching a disease as the company will ensure proper sanitisation throughout the dealership and during the delivery process. Those who prefer contactless interactions can opt for remote car demonstrations via video conferencing, and complete the purchase formalities on the website.

Existing Hyundai customers can take book service either the old-fashioned way, by calling up a dealer, or online through Hyundai Care app, WhatsApp and the website. You can expect Hyundai to deliver the car back post thorough disinfection.
