Saar: The blacked-out roof can now be had with the Inferno Orange paint from the Etios Cross.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has introduced a new dual-tone paint for its Etios Liva hatchback. The blacked-out roof can now be had with the Inferno Orange paint, which has been on offer with the Etios Cross. With this new dual-tone finish, the Etios Liva is now available with a total of three such finishes. The other two are Super White and Vermilion Red, both with a black roof.

There are no other changes to report. The interior remains identical as before and so does the powertrain department. As before, the dual-tone paint finishes are offered only in V and VX variants. The standard kit includes a two-din CD/USB/Bluetooth music system with 4 speakers, dual-tone interior finish in ivory and black, 10-spoke 15-inch alloy wheels, rear wiper with washer, all four power windows, dual airbags and ABS with EBD. The more expensive VX trim gets audio controls on steering wheel, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs (only adjustable in V variant), chrome accents on AC vents and gear knob, front fog lamps and rear parking sensors.

Both V and VX variants are offered with diesel and petrol engines. The diesel is a 1.4-litre unit that puts out 68PS of power and 170Nm of torque. The petrol, on the other hand, is a 1.2-litre mill that generates 80PS of power and 104Nm of torque. Both engines are offered with a 5-speed manual transmission only. Toyota claims that the diesel and petrol engines have a mileage of 23.59kmpl and 18.16kmpl respectively.

As far as price is concerned, the petrol-powered V and VX variants cost Rs 5.86 lakh and Rs 6.30 lakh respectively. The diesel-fed V and VX variants, on the other hand, are priced at Rs 7.09 lakh and Rs 7.45 lakh respectively. All prices are ex-showroom Delhi.
