Saar: The special edition will come with a host of cosmetic changes both inside and outside the cabin.

Tata Motors has officially teased the Tigor Buzz edition, which created quite a buzz all over the internet in the recent past. What is it? Who remembers the Tiago Wizz that Tata Motors introduced in September last year? Well, Tata Motors has now taken the standard Tigor and did the Wizz to create the Buzz. The cosmetic changes that the Tigor Buzz will get are nearly the same as the Tiago Wizz got.

On the outside, it will come with a black roof and a matching rear-mounted spoiler, dual-tone wheel-covers with red accents, berry-red highlights in the front grille, blacked-out B-pillar and black caps on the ORVMs (outside rear view mirrors). On the inside, the Tigor Buzz is likely to get a new patterned seat fabric, and dual-tone interiors finished in piano black and sporty red accents.

The Tigor Buzz is likely to be based on the second-to-bottom XM variant and will share most of the kit with it. That means no airbags, ABS or EBD in its kitty. In case you are wondering, the Tigor Buzz will be available with diesel and petrol engines. But neither will be any different to what the standard Tigor has on offer. The 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol has 85PS/114Nm on tap, while the 1.05-litre diesel engine puts out 70PS/140Nm. The Tigor Buzz won’t be offered with the AMT unit. Instead, both engines will come mated to the 5-speed manual transmission only.

As far as pricing is concerned, we won’t have to wait for long as the launch of this special edition Tigor is imminent. Compared to the petrol- and diesel-fed XM variants, which are priced at Rs 5.20 lakh and Rs 6.05 lakh respectively, the Buzz-ed up editions will come at a slight premium over those.
