Mercedes-Benz India Celebrates World Water Day
Saar: The German automaker promotes water-less car washing and introduces a range of environment-friendly car cleaning products
Mercedes-Benz has established itself as one of the preeminent luxury carmakers in India by not just launching strategically viable products, but also by keeping the customers happy with its fastidious customer service. Another ace up its sleeve has been an active involvement towards corporate social responsibility (CSR) campaigns and on this year’s World Water Day (WWD), which by the way was on March 22, the German auto giant has promoted to save water by introducing a self-use, water-less car cleaning technique called “Quick and Clean”.
The three-pointed star believes that if conducted properly, “Quick and Clean” can deliver the same or better results than using water to clean the car. The technique offers streak-free cleansing of glass as well as painted surfaces, rubber and plastic surfaces. For this, the conceived product can be used for both interior and exterior of the vehicles. Mercedes-Benz says that it is also biodegradable and is most effective when used with a microfiber cloth. The same product and cleaning technique has also been introduced across the company’s dealerships to save water.
Apart from this, Mercedes-Benz India has launched a range of eco-friendly products for complete car care. The list includes cleaning solutions, body repair products, grease and lubricants. These products, the company claims, have been specially designed for its range of vehicles. One of the products is called Mercedes-Benz Genuine Oil for the engine which can deliver optimum performance in terms of power, reliability and fuel consumption.
