Do you own a fleet variant of any Maruti Suzuki model? Have you been planning to get it serviced thoroughly from an authorised workshop? If yes, do take advantage of the service camp that Maruti Suzuki will commence tomorrow. The said campaign has been devised for fleet vehicle owners only and will run across all authorised Maruti Suzuki dealerships until May 31, 2019.

So, what’s special about this service campaign? To start with, Maruti Suzuki is offering a complimentary health check-up of fleet vehicles. This will help in identifying what needs to be addressed and when. If you opt for a service of the car, the company will offer a discount on labour charges which, as we all know, will make a difference in the final invoice. Lastly, the cars will be given a top wash and fitted with perfume, both at no cost to the customer. Our recommendation is that before you head out to the nearest Maruti Suzuki workshop, you must take a prior appointment to avoid any inconvenience.

In April this year, Maruti Suzuki began introducing BSVI-compliant vehicles with the Baleno and the refreshed Alto. It also went on to confirm that come April 1, 2020, it will not sell any diesel-fed models in India. By that time, India’s largest carmaker would not only have upgraded all its current petrol-powered vehicles to comply with BSVI norms but also introduce the compliant petrol engines in models such as the S-Cross and the Vitara Brezza. Both models are currently available only with the Fiat-sourced 1.3-litre diesel engine.

While Maruti Suzuki has taken a stance against diesel-fed models from next fiscal onwards, it will upgrade and keep the 1.5-litre diesel mill on standby. The said engine is currently being offered with the Ciaz sedan and the Ertiga MPV.
