Saar: The announcement comes a few days after its sister concern, Jaguar, commenced its own version of a marketing campaign.

Land Rover India is all set to begin ‘The Above And Beyond Tour’ for the fiscal year 2018-19. The event will take place in 12 cities across India. Customers and prospects get to experience the off-roading capability of Land Rover vehicles. If you think you’ve heard of such an event before, you are correct. The same customer-engaging campaign was formerly known as the Land Rover Experience.

Under the supervision of trained instructors, the drivers will get a chance to drive the Land Rover Discovery Sport and the Range Rover Evoque in challenging terrains. Sadly, there is no mention of any other Land Rover or Range Rover vehicle that will be part of this event. The Discovery Sport starts at Rs 43.8 lakh whereas the Range Rover Evoque carries a starting price of Rs 51.83 lakh. Essentially, Land Rover is bringing the least-expensive duo in all cities.

Upon announcing this event, Rohit Suri, president and MD, Jaguar Land Rover India Ltd., added, “In the 70th year of the iconic Land Rover, we are happy to offer ‘The Above and Beyond Tour’ in India. This is an extremely popular activity with our customers. Not only do they get to experience all that a Land Rover can do, but they also get to enjoy some thrilling and unforgettable moments in the world’s most capable vehicles.”

The first city that will host the event will be Chandigarh from April 13 to 15, 2018. The tour will then shift to Delhi, followed by Noida, Ahmedabad, Indore and Nagpur. The details of the rest of six cities are yet to surface.

Earlier this week, Jaguar India commenced its own version of a marketing campaign. It is called the Art of Performance Tour. Unlike the Above and Beyond Tour, the Jaguar’s campaign will have all the models that the company has on sale for drivers.
