In a bid to reach out to more prospective customers, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) India has opened a dealership in Hyderabad. Located in the Film Nagar Down area, the facility offers 3S solutions – Sales, Service and Spare parts. JLR says that it will not only serve customers in the capital city of Telangana State but also in surrounding areas. Operated by Pride Motors, the dealership becomes the first for the brand in the said State.
Here’s what Rohit Suri, who is the president & MD at JLR India Ltd., said at the inauguration ceremony:
We are pleased to strengthen our partnership with Pride Motors, with whom we have been associated for over six years with the opening of this new, ultra-modern integrated 3S facility. Our customers in Hyderabad and adjoining areas will be able to enjoy a world-class facility that provides sales, service and spares under one-roof, from a location that is convenient and easily accessible.
Spread over 4,000 sq. m., the newly opened touchpoint comprises of 12 bays showcasing JLR products and a handover bay for vehicle delivery. Apart from those, the facility also houses a section of pre-owned cars, known as Jaguar Land Rover Approved, and an area for customers who want to purchase authentic accessories or official merchandise. For vehicle service, the dealership has 17 bays.
Presently, JLR India has 27 outlets in 24 cities across India. In times to come, that number will shoot up to serve a broader audience in varied markets. On the product introduction front, the Tata-owned company has already launched two this year – the new Evoque and the refreshed Discovery Sport. India could see the launch of the F-Pace SVR, F-Type facelift and the new Defender within this year. Also on the radar is the all-electric I-Pace, which will lock horns with two upcoming models – Audi e-tron and the Mercedes-Benz EQC.
