Hyundai Motor India Commences ’20-20-20 Celebrations’ Campaign
Saar: Among other celebratory gifts, Hyundai will give away 20 cars to 20 winners on a purchase of 20 litres of petrol or ‘Xtrapremium’ petrol at select IndianOil outlets.
The Indian arm of the South Korean carmaker Hyundai Motor India has tied-up with petroleum major IndianOil to launch a celebratory campaign called Hyundai-IndianOil ‘20-20-20 Celebrations’. It will run for a total of 59 days at select IndianOil outlets from August 3 to September 30, 2018. During this period, customers visiting these outlets for the purchase of fuel will stand a chance to win prizes.
When we say fuel, it refers to only normal petrol or the ‘Xtrapremium’ kind. Hyundai says that 20 lucky customers will be gifted 20 ICONIC (we’ll come to this in a bit) Hyundai cars on the purchase of a minimum of 20 litres of above-mentioned fuels. Apart from those prizes, 1,000 customers stand a chance to win fuel vouchers from IndianOil worth Rs 1,000 each. Hyundai’s ICONIC brands include models like the Eon, Grand i10 and Elite i20.
In a press release, Y K Koo, MD and CEO, Hyundai Motor India Ltd., said:
“We are extremely delighted by our association with Indian Oil Corporation Limited as we celebrate our 20 years journey in India. With this campaign, both Hyundai and Indian Oil Corporation Limited offer ‘Brilliant Moments’ to the lives of our customers as a gratitude for their love and trust in the brands. This campaign will help leverage the strengths of both the brands and will strike an instant chord with our customers across India.”
This campaign is part of Hyundai Motor India’s 20th-anniversary celebrations. Apart from giving away the above-mentioned prizes, Hyundai will also be setting up service camps and displaying cars at all major IndianOil outlets across the country.
On the sides and on a much more serious note, the carmaker is currently working hard to launch its new small car in India around this year’s festive period. The model is presently codenamed as the Hyundai AH2 but many believe that the Santro badge could make a return with this new model. It will be placed below the Grand i10 and will take charge from the soon-to-be-axed Eon.
