In order to push for more numbers before the current fiscal year comes to a close, Honda has introduced limited-run versions of the Amaze, Jazz and the WR-V. All three wear the Exclusive Edition badge and flaunt a bunch of cosmetic changes over their regular, fully-loaded selves inside and out. Mechanically, however, there are no changes to report. Let’s unravel what each one brings to the party individually.

Honda Amaze Exclusive Edition

To create it, Honda took the VX trim of the standard Amaze and garnished with some bespoke styling elements such as dual-tone black stickers on the alloy wheels and backlit door sills. Inside the cabin, the seats are draped in sporty black PU covers and there is a front armrest which comes with slide functionality and some storage space. The price for the added kit? While the diesel-powered VX MT Exclusive is priced at Rs 7.87 lakh, the petrol-fed iteration wears a price tag of Rs 8.97 lakh. In other words, you’d be paying an extra Rs 13,000 for the Exclusive trims.

Honda WR-V Exclusive Edition

No points for guessing, the WR-V Exclusive Edition is based on the VX trim of its standard self. To set it apart, Honda has tried to liven-up its recipe by adding body decals, backlit door sills and an all-black spoiler on the tailgate. To only change inside the cabin is that the seats get black PU covers. Like the Amaze, the WR-V Exclusive Edition is available with petrol and diesel engines. While the former is priced at Rs 9.35 lakh, the latter will cost you Rs 10.48 lakh. Do the math and you’ll end up with an Rs 18,000 difference between the VX and the Exclusive Edition, where, of course, the latter is the dearer one.

Honda Jazz Exclusive Edition

Unlike the WR-V and Amaze, the Honda Jazz Exclusive Edition is available only with the petrol engine and that too mated to the CVT. In other words, this limited-run version of the premium hatchback is neither available with a diesel engine and nor with a manual transmission. To make it, Honda took the VX trim as its baseline and added an all-black tailgate spoiler, black-painted alloy wheels, body decals, backlit door sills and seats draped in black PU covers. For all that added kit, Honda is asking for an additional Rs 19,000 for the Jazz Exclusive Edition over the hatchback’s VX CVT trim. That means, it is priced at Rs 9.23 lakh.

The petrol engine which powers all three of these models is a 1.2-litre mill which produces 90PS/110Nm and comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission (a CVT in the Jazz). The diesel engine, on the other hand, is a 1.5-litre motor which pumps out 100PS/200Nm and is coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission. All three Exclusive Edition models are available in just colour options – Radiant Red and Orchid White.

Honda is also prepping to launch the all-new Civic in India next month. It will compete with the likes of the Toyota Corolla Altis, Hyundai Elantra and the Skoda Octavia.
