BluSmart To Run A Fun Campaign Next Month
Do you frequently travel in and around Delhi-NCR? If yes, chances are you make use of cabs which offer more safety than any means of public transportation in these strange times. How about competing to win an all-expenses-paid trip to the Andamans? Sounds great. BluSmart, which is India’s first all-electric ride-hailing platform, will start a campaign under the tag #MyBluKms next month. More precisely, from December 1 to December 20, 2020.
To participate in the challenge, all you need to do is book a ride through the BluSmart app during the window mentioned above. Then, take a picture or a video in the cab, and post it on Instagram using the campaign’s hashtag – #MyBluKms. The person who covers the maximum distance wins a three-day, five-star trip for two to the popular holiday destination. The winner will be announced on December 22, 2020.
Here’s what Anmol Jaggi, who is the founder of BluSmart Mobility, said about this campaign in an official release:
Our vision is to make the environment greener and more breathable. With Delhi-NCR facing a double-edged sword of hazardous air pollution levels as well as increasing Covid-19 cases, we must take urgent action. One way to tackle this pressing issue is a revolution in the electric vehicle space, that can bring down pollution levels to a significant extent.
Honestly, winning a challenge is like the cherry on top of a cake. Delhi, as we are all aware, has been infamously ruling the air pollution-related headlines. By using cabs which do not emit any local emissions whatsoever, you’re actually helping in reducing the carbon footprint. That, we believe, is what makes the cake.
BluSmart says that in Delhi alone, unhealthy air irreversibly damages the lungs of 2.2 million of all children. And, as per a new study, exposure to air pollutants may affect their mental health at a later stage. Till date, the all-electric taxi service provider has completed 2.4 lakh trips. It has covered 70 lakh kilometres without releasing any harmful emissions into the capital’s air. As a result, the company has saved 5 lakh kilograms of CO2 since its launch of operations in June 2019.
