India’s financial capital, Mumbai, now has a new Porsche outlet. Rather aptly, it’s called Porsche Centre Mumbai. Located at Savoy Chambers, Linking Road Extension, Santacruz West, the new facility is spread over 418 sq.m. That figure roughly translates to 4,500 sq. ft., enough to house all distinguishing Porsche elements. What’s more, the new showroom’s opening also marks the debut of Porsche’s latest offering – the new Panamera sports saloon.
Five trained sales representatives are available to receive and offer individual consultation, including bespoke customisation options via Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, to all prospective customers. Porsche says that the newly opened facility has enough space for five display cars. By the end of the year, the showroom will receive all the necessary upgrades to gain the “Destination Porsche” title. In other words, the store will encompass digital applications in a way that they provide a more immersive car buying experience.
To open the new sales facility, Porsche has partnered with Infinity Cars Pvt. Ltd. The latter has experience in managing and operating a variety of luxury car dealerships across different cities.
Here’s what Porsche India’s new head honcho, Manolito Vujicic, said about the development in an official release:
The opening of the new showroom in the capital of Maharashtra state is an important part of the organisation’s strategic growth plan. With the “Destination Porsche” enhancements ready by the end of the year, we will continue to provide innovative ways to make Porsche even more accessible to customers as well as enthusiasts.
Pooja Choudary, the dealer principal at Porsche Centre Mumbai, added her comments on this new partnership with one of the world’s leading sports car brands. She said:
We are committed to offer benchmark service to all our visitors. With our group’s extensive experience in luxury, we are confident that Porsche Centre Mumbai will always maintain a ‘customer first’ approach.
It was in February this year when Porsche launched the refreshed Panamera range in India. The sports saloon is available in four variants – Standard, GTS, Turbo S and Turbo S E-Hybrid. Their prices are Rs 1.45 crore, Rs 1.86 crore, Rs 2.12 crore and Rs 2.43 crore. Other models that Porsche sells in India include the Cayenne, Macan, 718 Boxster and the 911. Waiting for the Taycan EV? Well, that’s not too far away from debuting in the country.
