Saar: It looks like a near-exact copy of the Ertiga Limited Edition that was launched in February last year.

The current-gen Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is on its last stretch before it is put out of production. It will be replaced by an all-new generation of the Ertiga, which recently went on sale in Indonesia. But before that happens, Maruti Suzuki wanted to give the current-gen Ertiga a last hurrah to garner some more numbers before it is time to pull the plug.

So, here it is. The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Limited Edition. It is priced at Rs 7.80 lakh for petrol and Rs 9.71 lakh for the diesel (ex-showroom, Delhi). That makes it around Rs 13,000 – 14,000 dearer than the standard ‘V’ variants. Details for the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Limited Edition are scarce but it looks a near-exact replica of the Ertiga Limited Edition that was launched in February last year. Let’s list out of what we know.

Like before, the Ertiga Limited Edition is based on the VXi/VDi variants. The very first thing to notice is the return of the Exquisite Maroon body paint. If you don’t like it, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Limited Edition is also available in Silky Silver and Superior White. While the latter two body paints are available with the standard variants of the Ertiga, the Maroon colour is exclusive to the Limited Edition. Other changes to the outside include alloy wheels, chrome body side beading and a rear spoiler.

Inside the cabin, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Limited Edition gets dual-tone seat covers and steering cover, a faux-wooden interior styling kit, an armrest for the front seats and ambient interior lighting. The rest of the recipe remains unchanged and as far as features are concerned, they are at par with the variants it is based on.

Now, the limited edition Ertiga will be available with only select dealers across the country and the stock will be, as the name suggests, limited too. Since the new-gen Ertiga is being prepped for its India launch soon, it is better that you connect with your local dealer to first find out if it is taking orders for this limited-run Ertiga. If yes, don’t forget to haggle on the asking price.
