One of those, for a car owner, is getting the vehicle serviced. Sure, carmakers these days offer pick-up and drop-off facilities along with thorough disinfection inside and outside the car’s cabin. But, what if a team came to your place and serviced the vehicle? For Ford owners, that’s now possible.

The Indian arm of the American carmaker has launched the first phase of Doorstep Service. As the name suggests, customers can get their Fords serviced at their home or office. Now, this initiative brings in several positives. One of them – a customer need not send the car anywhere, safeguarding it from uninvited, and possibly infected, personnel. Also, Ford India is offering Doorstep Service at no additional cost. And the list of jobs they can perform includes periodic maintenance, dry-washing and general check-up.

At this time, Ford’s Doorstep Service is available in the following cities:

• North: Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Jaipur and Lucknow
• South: Bengaluru, Chennai, Cochin, Trivandrum and Hyderabad
• East: Kolkata and Bhubaneshwar
• West: Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Aurangabad and Ahmedabad
