BMW India has been doing its homework lately. The premium carmaker has realised that apart from bringing world-class products and expanding its reach in India, it also needs to work on some attractive after-sales programs. One such initiative was announced last month, which was tagged as Joy Rewards. Now, we have another one and BMW calls is – Service Inclusive packages. Depending on the model and variant, the package cost per kilometre starts at as little as Rs 0.97.

All BMW models have their own service packages. Customers can choose from a wide range of service plans according to mileage and duration. For instance, a 3 years/40,000km package for the BMW X1 Petrol is priced at Rs 38,800, whereas the owner of a diesel-fed X1 will have to pay Rs 55,400 for the same package. Similarly, if you are an owner of a BMW 3 Series and you want the above-mentioned package, you will have pay Rs 39,600 for petrol variants and Rs 56,500 for diesel. (all prices are inclusive of GST).

The service packages are available from 3 years/40,000km to 10 years/2,00,000km. The packages will cover all regular maintenance work such as engine oil service, replacement of air filter, fuel filter, micro filter, spark plugs, and brake fluid, vehicle check and standard scopes and engine oil top-ups along with service. BMW India confirms that the customers can not only upgrade or extend service packages but also transfer them to the next owner. The latter should help in getting a good resale deal as well.

BMW India will keep itself busy the rest of the year too. It has lined up a number of new product launches including the X7, the new 3 Series, the Z4, the new X5, the 7 Series facelift and the 8 Series. Earlier this year, it introduced the X4 crossover, followed by a new variant of the 5 Series.
