Have you been eyeing to upgrade the head unit of the music system in your beloved car? Well, the choices just got widened for you. Blaupunkt India has launched two new infotainment systems – Osaka 760 and Monte Carlo 750. While the latter is priced at Rs 29,990, the former wears a price tag of Rs 34,990. They jointly take the crown of becoming the first units from Blaupunkt in India to feature support for Google’s Android Auto and Apple’s CarPlay.
Both new infotainment systems feature a 6.75-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 800×400 pixels. Other similarities include the support for .flac file playback, audio & video from USB, Bluetooth audio streaming and telephony, rearview camera input and steering wheel control units. So why is the Osaka 760 Rs 5,000 dearer? Well, there are three main reasons. One, it is specifically designed for Toyota models only, which adds to the manufacturing cost. Two, it has built-in support for digital signal processing and, three, it has a 10-band equaliser in comparison to the 3-band equaliser in the Monte Carlo 750.
The advantage of the Monte Carlo 750 infotainment system is that it can fit in all car models and, unlike the Osaka 760 model, which has just one rear USB input, it has two.
In a press release, Pankaj Jagwani, MD, Blaupunkt India, said:
“We are very excited to unveil the launch of our first ever Android Auto and Apple Car Play audio systems. Osaka 760 and Monte Carlo 750 are our latest models in our extensive line up of radios we offer in India. With our German heritage and design capabilities, we have no doubt that these two current models will help elevate the overall user experience of the end user.”
When it comes to fitting and fine-tuning a car’s music system, we’d recommend that you get it done from an authorised dealer only. Make sure you visit the manufacturer’s website to get the details of your nearest Blaupunkt dealer.
I would like to know that Blaupunkt New York 750 compatible for Hyundai i 10 sports model 2013, please guide me
Hello, Rajesh!
Thank you for getting in touch. Blaupunkt’s New York 750 is a 6.75-inch infotainment system. As for the Hyundai i10 (2013), the dashboard isn’t designed to fit any aftermarket infotainment system as is. If you want, you can get one installed. But you will have to get some minute modifications done to the music system area.
Hope that helps!
Drive safe!

I would like to know that Blaupunkt New York 750 compatible for hyundai creta 2020, please guide me
Hi Pavan!
Thank you for reaching out.
The New York 750 is a 6.75-inch unit could fit with a bit of modification. However, I’d advise you to opt for a larger 8.0-inch infotainment system instead. That will not only provide better resolution but also more real estate for better comfort.

I have already ordered New York 750 for Yaris. I see here that Osaka 760 is customized for Toyota. I need to know what will be the differences when fitting NY750 compared to Osaka. Also how do you compare Osaka with New York is terms of features.
Hi Jitendra!
First of all, congratulations on your new purchase. The New York 750 should serve well.
As for Osaka 760, I believe Blaupunkt doesn’t sell it in India anymore. But, if you’ve found one from a third-party seller, I would suggest that the New York 750 offers better overall value.
Both systems have the same display real estate, and offer the support for smartphone pairing. I see that Blaupunkt is offering a free rear-view camera with the New York system.
I hope you didn’t have to wait too long for my response. And I also hope that the response was helpful.
Take care and stay safe.
